  • Balance and movement control
  • Getting up, carrying and climbing stairs

  • Returning after illness, injury or surgery

Individual coaching

The right challenge. The right support.

Exercise selection and setup adapt to the person—not the other way around.

Individual coaching

Challenge should be appropriate—not absent.

We choose the right exercises, level of support and pace of progression based on current ability, relevant history and goals.

ASSESS

Know the baseline

Understand current movement, confidence, experience and any relevant limitations.

COACH

Build with support

Teach each movement clearly and provide the supervision needed for productive training.

PROGRESS

Keep adapting

Increase challenge as capacity improves while continuing to monitor the individual.

For families and clinicians

A clear role in the larger plan.

Apex provides strength and performance coaching—not medical treatment. After appropriate clearance, we can use relevant guidance from doctors and physical therapists and provide training feedback when permission and context support it.

How we train with limitations

Common questions

What families ask.

The first conversation helps us understand both the individual and any family or clinician context that matters.

Is someone too old to begin strength training?

No. Apex does not set a maximum age. Current capacity, health context, experience and goals determine the appropriate starting point—not the number on a birth certificate.

Can family members be involved?

Yes. With the client’s permission, relevant family input can help clarify priorities, history and day-to-day needs.

Do you provide physical therapy?

No. Apex does not diagnose, treat or replace medical care. We provide post-clearance training and coordinate with healthcare professionals when appropriate.

Training that earns trust
“Every session feels tailored to me. I feel motivated and pushed beyond what I might do on my own, but always with a careful eye on preventing injury. I have since brought my good friend and my dad for training.”
