Serious preparation

Individual work for competitive goals.

Apex has trained athletes through college, professional and national levels. High-level experience shapes our standards without making developing athletes feel like they need to arrive elite.

STRENGTH

Build usable force

Progress the strength qualities that support the athlete’s sport and physical demands.

SPEED & POWER

Express it faster

Develop acceleration, change of direction, jumping and power with context—not random drills.

DURABILITY

Handle the schedule

Prepare for practice, competition and training load with exercise selection that respects the full calendar.

Planning that fits

In season and off season require different decisions.

Training volume, priorities and recovery demands change throughout the year. Apex adjusts the plan instead of repeating the same template every month.

  • Sport and position demands
  • Practice, travel and competition schedule
  • Training age and previous program exposure
  • Current capacity and relevant injury history
The Apex difference

Details over theater.

Hard work matters. So does knowing why the work is there, what it is developing and when the plan needs to change.

01. Define the demand

Clarify the competitive goal and the physical qualities that support it.

02. Establish the baseline

Assess movement, strength and experience to identify the right first priorities.

03. Coach the progression

Track response and adapt around the season, schedule and athlete’s development.

Common questions

What athletes ask.

The assessment helps determine both the program and the level of coaching support that fits.

Can Apex work around my team schedule?

Yes. The training plan considers practices, games, travel and other strength work so the full workload makes sense.

Do you train college athletes home for breaks?

Yes. Shorter windows can still be productive when we understand the athlete’s current program, timeline and priorities.

What if I have an injury history?

We account for relevant history and current capacity. After appropriate clearance, training may also incorporate guidance from a doctor or physical therapist.

A college athlete’s experience
“Every one-on-one session has always felt personal and focused on what I was working toward at that point in my athletic career. I’ve gotten so much faster and stronger, which has given me a lot more confidence on the field.”
